A Wealth of Experience

Mega Contracting was founded in 1990 with the goals of building a reputable and reliable construction company working initially on residential gut rehabilitation projects and educational facilities.

As the company began to develop Mega Contracting focused on affordable housing and earned the trust of clients, public agencies and funding institutions. In the mid-1990’s, Mega broadened its reach to market rate residential and commercial developments, and a variety of unique public space and infrastructure rehabilitation projects.

The company always seeks to be in the forefront of development in construction technology and recently expanded into LEED certified green building projects. Project support runs deep at Mega Contracting. The company offers a full complement of highly qualified, professional construction specialists for every project. Professional Engineers, Registered Architects, LEED Certified personnel, Licensed Safety Engineers, Licensed Supers and Quality Engineers, all with significant project management and supervision experience, guide client projects successfully through every phase of construction.

A member of The New York State Association for Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH), Queens & Bronx Building Association (QBBA), New York State Builders Association (NYSBA), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), Mega Contracting is actively involved in several professional and trade organizations in the New York City area.
